THE DOCTRINE

Intelligance

A word I made because none existed. Not a slogan — a standard I hold myself to, and the one I recognise in the people I meet.

THE WORD

Why I needed a new word

Every word this world already had felt like it belonged to someone else's idea of me — either too clinical, or too soft, or borrowed from a language of performance I never wanted to speak. So I made one. Intelligance is intelligence and elegance, held together by a lightness that keeps either from tipping into a role.

The three things it means

Intelligence

Elegance

Amusement

Curiosity that runs wide — business, real estate, architecture, art, cultures and cuisines from elsewhere, fine cars — with enough passion in how she talks about them to make the conversation itself something worth wanting.

A style that adapts — as comfortable in heels and an elegant gown as in casual chic, even in everyday sportswear, though that last one stays for me, never for a date. A presence calibrated to the room, never louder than the moment requires.

Humour, because chemistry without it is only choreography. Someone who never takes herself too seriously, who loves to laugh and joke around — the thing that keeps intelligence and elegance from turning into posturing.

What it is not

It is not a costume I put on for the evening and take off after. It is not a marketing angle, and it does not mean cold, or distant, or difficult to reach. It simply means that what you get is real — with you as much as with anyone else.

It's also what makes me adaptable: I know how to put people at ease, whoever I'm with, because I'm never trying to play a role that isn't mine.

In Her Own Words

"I'm in my early forties — old enough to know exactly what I want, and to have stopped pretending otherwise. 1m70, slim, long dark blonde hair, grey eyes. I do have a few tattoos, though I've started having them removed — I know it's not to everyone's taste, and I'd rather be upfront about it than let it surprise anyone. I speak French and English fluently, and I mean what I say in both.

I have a genuine appetite for good food — French and Thai cuisine above all, though I'm always curious to try what I haven't yet. A glass of white wine suits me better than most things. Beyond Pilates, I'm someone who rarely sits still — an ambitious entrepreneur at heart, always building something. I have a real eye for architecture and fine cars, and an evening spent talking about either rarely feels wasted. Travel is where all of this comes together for me — a new city is never just a destination, it's an excuse to look closer at everything: the buildings, the roads, what people eat and how they live. When I do slow down, it's over the kind of dinner that runs long because the conversation is worth it.

I built this life on my own terms, and I intend to keep it that way. I don't do this out of necessity — I do it because the right company, at the right table, is one of the few things that still feels entirely mine to choose. That's what I bring to an evening: not a performance, but someone who is genuinely there, and genuinely herself."
