LAST MINUTE REQUESTS
I do not generally accommodate same-day requests. My schedule is arranged several days in advance, like that of anyone with professional commitments, responsibilities and a life already in motion.
I may be in a meeting, at dinner, spending time with family or simply committed to plans already made. I am not waiting fully prepared, ready to cross the country the moment someone decides they would like company. A high-end engagement requires time, care and genuine availability.
The point is not simply for me to arrive. It is for me to arrive relaxed, prepared and fully present, so that the experience is enjoyable for both of us. Rushing away from another commitment, preparing under pressure and driving for hours is not the right foundation for that.
In the rare cases where I am able to reorganise my schedule at very short notice, a same-day request may exceptionally be considered at twice the usual rate. This reflects the disruption to my schedule, the urgency involved and the additional preparation required to make the meeting possible.
The simplest and most elegant approach remains to plan ahead and respect the minimum notice period for your region. A memorable meeting is always a well-prepared one.
2H TO 12H — CANCELLATION
24H+ — TRAVEL & CANCELLATION
Less than 48 hours before: deposit forfeited.
More than 48 hours before: deposit not refunded, but transferable once to a new date, subject to availability.
All travel-related expenses — flights, accommodation, transportation and any other agreed costs — are paid in full before departure.
More than 7 days before: deposit not refunded, but transferable once; unrecoverable prepaid travel expenses remain at your expense.
Within 7 days: deposit and all travel expenses forfeited in full. No refund or rescheduling.
IF I NEED TO CANCEL
These situations are exceptionally rare, but life occasionally intervenes. Should I ever need to cancel, the deposit is refunded in full, using the same method it was paid with — or, if you prefer, the engagement is simply rescheduled to a date that suits us both, subject to availability.
